Breathable warmth for people who sleep hot
If you sleep hot but can't sleep without something over you, a heavy comforter is too much and a sheet feels like nothing. A lightweight blanket sits in between. Ours is made from six layers of 100% cotton gauze (muslin), an open plain weave that lets air move through instead of holding it in under thick fill.
What makes a blanket feel light
- Weave: open, loosely woven cotton gauze instead of a dense knit or brushed fleece.
- Fill: none. No batting, no beads and no synthetic fill.
- Fiber: 100% cotton fabric, with no polyester in the fabric.
- Layers: six thin layers give the feel of a real blanket without the bulk of a comforter.
Sized honestly, for one adult
Gauze is crinkled on purpose, so we list two sizes: about 45″ × 73″ (115 × 185 cm) as it lies after a wash and dry, and 63″ × 83″ (160 × 210 cm) stretched flat. One blanket covers one adult from shoulders to toes: the full width of a twin or single bed, or one sleeper's side of a queen or king. See the size guide for how it fits your bed.
